மன உறுதியும் கட்டுப்பாடும் கொண்டு தவமென்னும் நோன்பு வலிமையுடையதாக அமைந்தால்தான், எண்ணிய மாத்திரத்தில் பகைவரை வீழ்த்தவும் நண்பரைக் காக்கவும் முடியும்.

தீமை செய்யும் பகைவரை அடக்குதலும் நன்மை செய்யும் நண்பரை உயர்த்துதலும் நினைத்த அளவில் தவத்தின் வலிமையால் உண்டாகும்.

Destruction to his foes, to friends increase of joyThe 'penitent' can cause, if this his thoughts employ
